The Rope Fuse
Light Fuse 1 on both ends, and Fuse 2 on the left end only. Fuse 1 will expire after exactly 30 minutes. At this point, touch the right end of Fuse 2 to its burning portion. This fuse will now burn for precisely 15 more minutes.
